Responding to the demands of the Chief of Security, I began a quick examination and complex study of the turrets on Operations Deck just yesterday. I was obviously escorted and I took a look at both the destroyed and intact turrets and used different methods to figure out what excatly caused the malfunction. It is unclear whether the ship's A.I. used a wireless signal to activate a self-destruct mechanism or that they were triggered to explode at undetermined times before we hacked them.
